Our laboratory is committed to the sustainable chemical utilization of forest and agricultural resources, guided by the principles of green chemistry. Our core research focuses on cellulose and pulp and paper science, extending to the development of high-performance biodegradable materials and advanced water purification systems. We specialize in the upcycling of waste and underutilized resources—such as disposable diapers, paper sludge, and citrus peels—transforming them into functional materials with antibacterial and antifungal properties. Through these efforts, we aim to provide innovative solutions for a circular bio-economy.
